VIDEO: MP Iqra Khalid Announces Liberal Government Response of $23 M Funding Initiatives in context

Editor's Note: Just a motion, eh? “It’s just a motion, not a bill” sums up how the concerns of hundreds of thousands of Canadians were dismissed by many MPs before they passed Motion M-103 on March 23, 2017. But, as seen in this 10-minute video of MP Iqra Khalid announcing the government’s response to the recommendations arising from that motion, the Liberal government is now spending $23 million to fight the “systemic racism and religious discrimination, including Islamophobia,” it alleges afflicts Canada. And some of that money is going to Islamic Relief and the NCCM. Islamic Relief is designated a terrorist organization in Russia, Israel and the UAE. NCCM (formerly CAIR-CAN) is an offshoot of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, in which the HLF was found to have funnelled millions of dollars to the terror group Hamas. Iqra Khalid, who introduced Motion M-103 to Parliament, is a former president of the Muslim Students’ Association at York University. The MSA is an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood. Why is the Trudeau government giving money to such sketchy groups to fight the bogeyman “Islamophobia,” a term that is not defined under Canadian law but has been interpreted to include any criticism of Islam?
